[March 27, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI — Mount Pulaski High School has learned that they are in the top 25 remaining schools competing for a $10,000 grant from Midwest Technical Institute in Springfield.

If they win, the school plans to use the money to upgrade and improve their vocational classes such as woodshop, metals and more.

But, for this to happen, the school needs the support of the community to vote for MPHS on the MTI Facebook page.

Here's how:

  1. Log on to Facebook (or create an account if you do not have one, so you can vote).

  2. Go to MTI's Facebook page and "like" it if you have not already (www.facebook.com/
    MidwestTechnicalInstituteSpringfieldIL
    )

  3. Click on the "High School Grant" link.

  4. Go to "View Entries" and click on the video for Mount Pulaski High School. There is a blue "VOTE" button on the right-hand side of the screen.

Once you have voted, share the site on your page so others can vote for MPHS! Encourage your family, friends, neighbors and everyone you know to vote for MPHS!

The winner will be announced April 27.

Every week, the school with the lowest number of votes will be dropped from the competition. Voting has already begun, so voting now is crucial to keeping MPHS in the running for this week.
