[March 29, 2014]SPRINGFIELD — During the final three days of open enrollment,
central Illinoisans have several opportunities to enroll in quality,
affordable health coverage through the Health Insurance
Marketplace.
In Logan County, residents can sign up for coverage at the Logan
County Park District Sports Complex in Lincoln on Saturday.
In-person assistance will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 pm.
In Springfield, residents can sign up for health insurance
during the final hours of open enrollment on Monday at King Pin
Lanes on Sangamon Avenue. In-person assistance will be available
from 5 to 10 p.m. so residents can beat the deadline to enroll.
All central Illinois residents also have the option of signing up
for health insurance by phone or online. To enroll by phone, call
1-800-318-2596. To enroll online, visit
www.healthcare.gov.
Central Illinoisans interested in signing up for health
insurance should bring Social Security or legal immigrant document
numbers, income verification (pay stubs, W-2 form) and any current
health insurance information for all household members.
