Are you prepared for a disaster? This representative of the American Red Cross holds a heat pack for cooking food. The pack is activated by adding tap water and will instantly heat to above boiling for cooking food when there is no electricity or cooking stove.

Several booths were set up that allowed guests to check on certain health issues without a doctor's appointment. Above a guest prepares to have a hemoglobin test. This test did cost $1, which is minimal, but there were also many similar booths where testing was free.

The test was being given by Memorial Health Services. Above, a second representative was prepared to load guests down with free goodies and bottled water.

Dara Entwistle was on hand at the Timber Creek Village table, anxious to talk about the new assisted living facility in Lincoln.

Timber Creek is set to open this summer, but Entwistle said she already has a waiting list of folks ready to move in.

Pictured to the left and above are some examples of healthy beverages and supplements offered at the "Nourishing our World" table.
