[May 12, 2014]  May 11 (The Sports Xchange) - Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones called the drafting of Michael Sam "horrible" and immediately received sharp disapproval from the team.

Sam is the first openly gay player to be selected in a NFL Draft. Television cameras showed Sam kissing his boyfriend after the former Missouri star received a phone call from the Rams.

"I was made aware of it and I was disappointed in those comments," Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey said Saturday night. "We're going to sit down with Don Jones and address (the tweet) appropriately."

The Chicago Bears signed nine undrafted rookie free agents to fill out their 90-man roster, the team announced.

The Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms with 19 undrafted free agents, the team announced.

The players included Eric Swoope, a four-year standout on the University of Miami basketball team who is being signed by the Colts as a tight end.

The New York Jets agreed to terms with eight undrafted free agents, the team announced.

The San Diego Chargers agreed to terms with 17 rookie free agents.

The Denver Broncos agreed to terms with 15 college free agents.

Washington quarterback Keith Price was among nine undrafted rookies to agree to free agent deals with the Seattle Seahawks.
