MAY 15

BENCHES 

StyleCraft is recalling Upholstered Benches sold exclusively by HomeGoods nationwide from July 2013 to October 2013. The benches can crack and break while in use, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves StyleCraft Home Collection stretcher benches sold in espresso with linen cloth. Made in China and part number SF1918AMM are printed on the bottom of the bench.

RIDING MOWERS 

Exmark is recalling Exmark Quest ZRT Riding Mowers sold nationwide and in Canada from April 2009 to October 2010. The riding mower’s steering assembly can fail and cause riders to lose steering, posing a crash hazard. 

This recall involves 2009 and 2010 model year Exmark Quest ZRT mid-mount riding mowers. Model numbers can be found at www.recalls.org.

DEHUMIDIFIERS 

Gree is recalling Dehumidifiers sold nationwide and in Canada from January 2005 to August 2013 The dehumidifiers can overheat, smoke and catch fire, posing fire and burn hazards.

This recall involves 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50, 65 and 70-pint dehumidifiers with brand names Danby, De’Longhi, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, GE, Gree, Kenmore, Norpole, Premiere, Seabreeze, SoleusAir and SuperClima.  Recalled model numbers and date codes are listed at www.recalls.org.

BMC BICYCLES 

BMC is recalling BMC Alpenchallenge, Masschallenge and Urbanchallenge Bicycles with Aprebic Forks sold nationwide from December 2011 to June 2013. The bicycle forks can crack or break above the brake mount posing a fall hazard. 

Specific bicycle models included in the recall are Alpenchallenge AC01 105 Tiagra, Alpenchallenge AC01 Rival, Masschallenge MC01 Team and the Urbanchallenge UC01 Alfine 11 with full carbon Aprebic bike forks model ACC-A704DN50B. 

Consumers should contact their local BMC authorized dealer for instructions on receiving a replacement fork.

EASTER BASKETS 

Nantucket Distributing is recalling Felt Easter Baskets sold exclusively at Christmas Tree Shops, andThat! and Christmas Tree Shops andThat! stores nationwide from February 2013 to March 2014. Decorative beads on the felt Easter baskets can detach and pose a choking hazard. 

The recall includes felt Easter baskets with scalloped edges and a handle.  The model number ct12011 and SKU number 30173064 are printed on a hangtag on the basket handle. 

Consumers should return the baskets to the store where purchased to receive a full refund.

GIRLS' LEGGINGS 

H&M is recalling Girls’ Leggings sold exclusively by H&M nationwide from August 2012 to April 2014. A metal part on the belt can detach, posing a choking hazard. 

The care label is either black or white and attached to the waistband in the back of the leggings. The garments have an O/N (order number) and P/N (product number) printed on the top of the care label. The following O/N numbers are included in the recall: 345180, 400690, 400691, 441760, 441761, 441762, 446960, 446961, 446962, 446963, 446965 and 978210.

POWER STRIPS 

Legrand Wiremold is recalling Under-cabinet power strips sold nationwide and in Canada from February 2011 to April 2014. The internal electrical connections of the power strips are substandard, posing risks of overheating and fire. 

This recall involves all Wiremold and Plugmold under-cabinet power and lighting strips with part number PX1001. Part number PX1001, and UPC number 0 86698 00125 3, are imprinted on the bottom of the power strip.

OUTDOOR CHAIRS 

Dimension Industries is recalling Fairview 7-Piece Patio Woven Dining Set sold exclusively at Costco Wholesale stores nationwide from January 2014 to March 2014.  The legs of the chairs can bend and break, posing a fall hazard. 

“7 piece Woven Dining Set” and “Imported by Costco Wholesale” is printed on the product packaging. The item number is printed on the instructions sold with the set and reads “ITM./ART. 966630.”

JERKY BLASTER 

Cabela’s is recalling Electronic Jerky Blaster sold nationwide from August 2013 to March 2014. The battery charger adapter can overcharge causing the Electronic Jerky Blaster’s battery and battery charger adapter to overheat. 

This recall involves Cabela’s Electronic Jerky Blaster, which resembles a caulking gun. The product has a black handle, a gold-toned 15” tube that holds the meat with “Cabela’s Power Jerky” written on it and interchangeable tip at the end. The recalled item number IK-540848 can be found underneath the barcode on the cardboard packaging that comes with the product and on the front of the instruction manual.

MISTERS 

Misty Mate is recalling Misty 2.5 High Pressure Personal Misters sold exclusively at Hibbet Sports stores nationwide from May 2013 to July 2012. The mister can shatter during use, posing a risk of laceration. 

This recall involves Misty Mate 2.5 ounce high pressure personal misters. The air misters are approximately 8 inches tall and are designed to spray a mist of water for personal cooling. 

 

Consumers should return the mister to Misty Mate for a refund.

AVON EYELASH CURLER 

Avon is recalling Ergonomic Eyelash Curler sold nationwide and in Canada from January 2007 to April 2014. The eyelash curler can break, exposing a metal pin, which poses an eye injury hazard. 

This recall involves an Avon Ergonomic Eyelash Curler which is silver with black ergonomic finger grips. The recalled curler has the Avon model number F3093441 which can be found on the product’s box. 

Consumers should return the curler to Avon in exchange for either a refund or a Mega Effects Mascara.

POOL SANITATION SYSTEMS 

Paramount is recalling Paramount Trident Series 2 (UV II) Ultraviolet Sanitation Systems for pools sold nationwide from September 2013 to January 2014. Electrical arcing can cause the units to catch fire, posing a fire hazard. 

This recall involves all Paramount Trident Series 2 (UV II) ultraviolet sanitation systems.  “Trident UV II” or “Series 2 Trident Ultraviolet Corporation UV Sanitation System” is printed on a black label on the front of the units. In addition, a silver sticker on the units has the following wording “Paramount Series 2 Ultraviolet Pool Sanitizer System,” “Trident Series 2 Ultraviolet Water Treatment System” or “Trident Ultra UV Series 2 Water Treatment System” and a date code of 9/9/2013 or later.
