Farmer's Bank to host blood drive

[May 26, 2014]  There will be a CICBC blood drive held at Farmer's Bank, 130 South Washington, Mount Pulaski on June 6 from 9 a.m. to Noon.

Central Illinois Community Blood Center, a not-for-profit organization, is the provider of life-saving blood for 14 hospitals throughout central Illinois, including Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital and Springfield’s Memorial Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital. A division of Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC), Central Illinois Community Blood Center and MVRBC collect over 180,000 units of blood annually and serve a total of 87 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin.
