Rev. Ben Manley will join us as interim Pastor on Sunday, June 1st. His wife, Gay Ann, will accompany him. Rev. Manley is an ordained minister and a licensed Pastoral Counselor. He was associate minister with Harvard Park Baptist Church in Springfield.

Rev. Manley (or Pastor Ben as he prefers) enjoys family gatherings and watching his grandchildren playing. He also likes to watch his dogs play with and chase each other.

Music, hunting, golf and collecting old pocket watches are among his hobbies. While he loves anything his wife cooks, he likes meat that is baked or char-broiled. His favorite color is blue.

Something people would be surprised to know is that he wanted to be a fashion designer.

Pastor Ben wants to share the loving grace of Jesus with everyone. His favorite scripture is “On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice’. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:12-13

Gay Ann Manley is a hair stylist and has been involved in various Christian education ministries.

Holiday gatherings and watching HGTV and cooking shows are among things she enjoys. She is also into beading, crafts, and using her metal detector. Her collections include kaleidoscopes and rose bowls. She loves pizza and the color green.

Something people would be surprised to know is she has double jointed fingers.

Gay Ann wishes to share a smile with everyone. Her favorite scripture is “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” I Corinthians 13:4.
