Obituary

Loretta Jean Jones, 78, of Lincoln, passed away May 18, 2014 at Symphony of Lincoln.

It was Loretta’s wish to be cremated. There will be no services at this time.

Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln has been entrusted with her care.

Loretta was born March 22, 1946 in Greenview, the daughter of James Harp and Wilma (Stone) Harp. She married Willis Jones. He later preceded her in death.

She graduated from Mount Pulaski High School and was a former employee of Lincoln Developmental Center. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Surviving are her son Don Michael Gillum of Lincoln, son Glen Brian (Rhonda) Gillum of Lincoln, brother Marvin (Suzanne) Harp of Mount Pulaski, sister Yvonne (Mark) Cheek of Lincoln, grandchildren: Jennifer Gillum, Jeremy Gillum, and Joshua Florey, great grandchildren: Baliegh, Bricon, and Kylan Gillum; Jayme, Breanna, and Brooklyn Florey, step-granddaughters: Holly (Shaun) Long, Crystal (Craig) Siegel, Veronica Langley, Hope (Anthony) Cook, Paula (Jay) Moore; step-great grandchildren: Tyler, Lyndsay, and Gracie Long, Alexis Bakken, Hunter White, Isaac, Madeline, Ava, and Abram Cook and Brent Siegel.

Funeral Directors

She was preceded him death by her parents, her husband, and her brother Dick Harp.

Memorial Donations may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center.
