"Remebering Joyce Kinzie" blood drive

[May 29, 2014]  The First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln will host a blood drive on June 2 in remembrance of the late Joyce Kinzie.  The event will be held at the Lincoln Masonic Center, 2022 N. Kickapoo in Lincoln from noon to 6 p.m.

Central Illinois Community Blood Center, a not-for-profit organization, is the provider of life-saving blood for 14 hospitals throughout central Illinois, including Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital and Springfield’s Memorial Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital. A division of Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC), Central Illinois Community Blood Center and MVRBC collect over 180,000 units of blood annually and serve a total of 87 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin.
