San Jose UMC to hold turkey dinner Nov. 5th

[November 03, 2014]  LINCOLN - The San Jose United Methodist Women, with the help of the men of the church and members of the community, are presenting their Annual Turkey Supper on the first Wednesday of November 5th. 

Serving is from 4:00pm till 7:00pm. The roast turkey supper features mashed potatoes and gravy, our ‘famous’ dressing, vegetables, salad, desserts and drinks, beside generous pieces cut from freshly roasted turkey. You may dine in the beautiful Fellowship Hall or carry out for the same price.

A large variety of homemade candy and sweets; pies, cinnamon rolls, breads, jelly and other goodies will be featured in the booths in the Fellowship Hall. There will also be boxed all-occasion cards; handmade Heirloom cards, various kitchen items; “nearly new” Christmas decorations and other novelties.

The San Jose United Methodist Church is located at 601 S. 1st Street (six blocks south of US136). San Jose is about 15 miles directly south of Pekin on Towerline Road; or State Rte. 29 to U.S 136, then go east two miles to San Jose; or about 10 miles west of I-155 on US136. Proceeds benefit missions supported by the United Methodist Women.
