Four Millikin Volleyball Players Honored by CCIW
On the list: Alora Goodey of Lincoln

[November 11, 2014]  DECATUR, Illinois—Four Millikin University volleyball players were recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) on the 2014 All-Conference Volleyball Team.

Millikin senior Audrey Krajec (West Salem, Edwards County H.S.) was named the CCIW All-Conference First team for the third straight year and named the conference’s Co-Player of the Year for the second season in a row. Krajec shared the honor with Karen Chin of Carthage.

Big Blue senior Jade Becker (Mt. Zion, H.S.) was named to the All-Conference First Team this season after earning Second Team honors last season.

Millikin senior Sara Travis (Schaumburg, H.S.) and freshman Alora Goodey (Lincoln, H.S.) were named to the CCIW All-Conference Third Team.

Krajec finished the regular season with 648 kills, 419 digs and 72 blocks. In CCIW matches, Krajec led the conference with 127 kills.

Becker had 347 kills and a team high 110 blocks.

Travis had 267 kills on the season.

Goodey had 258 kills and a .340 season hitting percentage. In conference games only, Goodey was third in the CCIW in hitting percentage at .330.

Millikin is headed to the NCAA Tournament and will play Thomas More on November 14 at Washington University-St. Louis.
