[November 11, 2014]  LINCOLN - Irene Kueh and Kathy Kesner have presented a copy of their most recent children’s book to Richard Sumrall for circulation at the Lincoln Public Library District.

Kueh and Kesner have written and published the fifth book in their Land and Sea series of children’s books. This book, Juggling Shapes with Lane and Shelby, introduces children to basic shapes through the use of descriptive rhymes, cute illustrations, and a recurring refrain.

A highlight of the book is the inclusion of several of Lane and Shelby’s animal friends who came to be known by the authors through adoption from animal rescue groups. In fact the book is dedicated to three such groups: the Humane Society of Logan County, Pets Without Parents of Central Illinois, and the Animal Protective League.

The authors will hold a book signing at Horsefeathers, 104 Governor Oglesby St. in Elkhart on November 22, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All of the books in the Land and Sea series will be available that day at a special discount. Also available will be a selection of other books written and/or co-written by Kueh.

The books are also available at Prairie Years in Lincoln and through Amazon.
