[November 20, 2014]  Nov 19 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Hockey League games:

Rangers 2, Flyers 0

Rick Nash scored his 13th goal of the season and backup goaltender Cam Talbot stopped 31 shots in a rare start as the New York Rangers topped Philadelphia at Madison Square Garden.

Talbot entered the game with a 3.48 goals-against average and .880 save percentage but played well in earning his first win of the season. The shutout was the fourth of his career.

Flyers goaltender Steve Mason did what he could to keep his team close, stopping 32 shots in the one-sided affair.

Canucks 5, Oilers 4

Vancouver, fresh off a blowout loss to the Arizona Coyotes, bounced back by beating Edmonton at Rexall Place.

The Canucks, who had leads of 2-0, 3-1 and 4-3, had to stave off a number of comeback attempts but they got it done to improve their record to 13-6-0.
