[November 21, 2014]  DT Ego Ferguson returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice due to illness. He is expected to play Sunday.

T Eben Britton is practicing on a limited basis since being out before the Bears bye week due to appendix surgery.

DE Jared Allen was given Thursday as a veteran's day off but is expected to play and is not injured.

WR Josh Morgan returned to practice on a full-time basis Thursday after being out with a shoulder injury last week. Unless he has a setback Friday, he is expected to be eligible to play Sunday.

WR/KR Marc Mariani continued to take kick/punt return reps in practice and it appears he'll return at least some of the time Sunday, although head coach Marc Trestman is hedging on whether he'll get all of them. Regular return man Chris Williams remains out with a hamstring injury suffered Sunday.

CB Demontre Hurst has been out Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury, which deprives the Bears of a potential nickel back. Sherrick McManis could be moved into that spot, or they could put McManis at cornerback and move Tim Jennings into the nickel spot in passing situations. Jennings started out the year playing there, but moved following the season-ending pectoral muscle injury to Charles Tillman. Another option is putting backup safety Brock Vereen at nickel. He was used on third downs in the nickel defense some in last week's game.

T Jordan Mills returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday after missing last week's game with a rib injury and is day-to-day according to head coach Marc Trestman. Because Michael Ola started last week and has played well at right tackle and is available, they'll likely be very conservative in rushing Mills back onto the field.
