In the opener, the 7th grade squad (7-0) won 56-34.
Kaden Freebee led all scorers with 30 points and added 9 steals
and 5 assists.
Also scoring for the Wolverines was; Joe Dalpoas (8) Justin Long
and Dreyden Pozsgai (6 each) and 2 each from, Kameron Whiteman,
Lucas Konczyk, and Andre McAdams.
In the nightcap, the 8th grade team (4-3) secured a 31-29
victory. Froebe led the way with 14 points, while Shane Shumard
scored 8 points and pulled down a team high 10 rebounds. Blain
Robbins (7) and Whiteman (2) provided the rest of the scoring.
The Wolverines have little time to celebrate the wins as they
hit the road Friday to face the Cougars of Illini Central at
their gym in Easton. The 7th grade game tips at 6 p.m.
