NBA game roundup: Gasol's 30 points help

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Center Marc Gasol
scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies
defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 107-91 Sunday night at FedExForum.
The Grizzlies (12-2) led by as many as 25 points in the fourth
Gasol made 13 of 18 shots from the floor. He also blocked two shots.
Memphis extended its regular-season home winning streak to 22 games.
By holding the Clippers to under 100 points, they stopped Los
Angeles' nine-game road streak of scoring 100 or more -- the team's
longest stretch since moving to Los Angeles.
Forward Blake Griffin struggled through a 5-for-17 shooting night,
scoring just 12 points.
Point guard Chris Paul led Los Angeles with 22 points, five assists
and four steals.
Heat 94, Hornets 93
MIAMI - Forward Chris Bosh hit a fade-away jumper with 31 seconds
left to give Miami the lead, as the Heat snapped their three-game
home losing streak.
Forward Luol Deng led the Heat with 26 points, eight rebounds and
one key block. Bosh added 20 points and 10 rebounds, and guard Mario
Chalmers had 20 points and 10 assists.
The Heat also avoided what would have been their first four-game
home losing streak since March of 2011.
Charlotte (4-10) has lost five straight games overall and is now 1-7
on the road. Center Al Jefferson had 22 points and 12 rebounds for
his sixth straight double-double in games against the Heat.
Trail Blazers 94, Celtics 88
BOSTON - Portland missed its first nine field-goal attempts of the
game but still won its seventh game in a row, while Boston lost for
the fifth time in its last six games.
Forward LaMarcus Aldridge powered the Trail Blazers with his
double-double, scoring a game-high 20 points and scooping up 14
Forwards Jeff Green and Jared Sullinger led the Celtics with 19
Warriors 91, Thunder 86

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Marreese Speights scored a season-high 28 points to
lead Golden State, which improved to 10-2 while the Thunder fell to
Forward Anthony Morrow scored on a dunk to bring Oklahoma City
within two at 88-86 with 17.9 seconds left. After Warriors guard
Stephen Curry made one of two free throws to make it a three-point
lead, Thunder swingman Andre Roberson shot an airball on a 3-point
attempt that would have tied it.
Reggie Jackson paced the Thunder with 22 points.
Nuggets 101, Lakers 94 (OT)
LOS ANGELES -- Denver won its seventh in a row over Los Angeles,
earning an overtime victory on Sunday night at Staples Center.
Forward Wilson Chandler scored 13 of his 19 points in the second
half to lead Denver (6-7), which won its fourth straight game. Point
guard Ty Lawson had 18 points and 16 assists.
Guard Kobe Bryant scored 27 to lead the Lakers (3-11), who have lost
six of seven at home. Point guard Jeremy Lin had 17 points, backup
center Robert Sacre had 13 points and a career-tying three steals
for the Lakers and center Jordan Hill added 11 points and 14
