Lincoln Police seek information on recent burglaries

[October 01, 2014]  LINCOLN - The Lincoln Police department is investigating six burglaries that occurred from the late evening hours of 09/26/14 through the early morning hours of 09/27/14.

The burglaries occurred in the areas of 300 Block of South Butler Street, 700 and 1000 Blocks of Decatur Street and 900 Block of Wyatt Avenue. Another burglary occurred in the 800 block of North Chicago Street.

Some of the items taken were electronics and personal items. In one instance a garage was also entered and a 4 wheeler was taken.

Entry was gained to the vehicles by way of unlocked doors. The Lincoln Police Department would like to urge residents to always lock your vehicles and take any valuables with you.

Anyone with any information concerning any crime in the Lincoln/Logan County area is urged to call “CRIME STOPPERS” at 217-732-3000. Your information will be kept confidential and you may remain anonymous. If your information leads to the arrest of the person(s) involved CRIME STOPPERS will pay you a cash reward up to $1000.00.
