Local Emergency Assistance Board to Meet October 8, 2014

[October 04, 2014]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) board will have its annual meeting on October 8, 2014 at 9:00a.m. The meeting will take place at the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois facility.

The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program was created in 1983 to supplement the work of local social service organizations within the United States, both private and governmental, to help people in need of emergency assistance. This collaborative effort between the private and public sectors has provided over $3.6 billion in federal funds during its 29-year history.
