"We were not good enough today," said Coach Ben Messena. "We
gave up two quick goals and had to fight back the whole game. At
halftime, we were down 3-1 and brought it back to 3-2 and had a
lot of momentum for most of the half".
Despite leading in shots and corners, Lincoln would give up
another goal to make it 4-2. The Lynx would find a 3rd goal
shortly after LLCC scored to make it 4-3. Lincoln land would
find a 5th goal to end the game.
"We have had four games in 6 days, and we have struggled with a
lot of injuries this season. It caught up to us today. We didn't
defend well, and we didn't score our chances," Messena
concluded.
The Lynx travel to Bloomington to take on heartland on Saturday
October 11th at 1:00 p.m.
