Two dozen teams from Illinois and Iowa will play all day in the
Nutt Arena and Davidson-Sheffer Gymnasium (DSG) on the Lincoln
College campus and in both gymnasiums at Lincoln Community High
School. The first games begin at 9 a.m. and the last games begin at
5 p.m. The Lincoln College Lynx will play Carl Sandburg at 10 a.m.
in the Nutt Arena, Plant Athlete Prep at noon in the DSG, and Wabash
Valley College at 5 p.m. in the DSG. All-day admission is $5 for
adults and $3 for students.
“This is a really great event, and it’s grown exponentially. We had
17 teams last year and this year we’re up to 24. It’s a great
opportunity for the teams to get some pre-season play, and for
Lincoln basketball fans to get to watch a lot of different teams,”
said Lynx Head Coach Pat Lepper.
