Logan County Bike Trail public hearing set for Oct 28th

[October 14, 2014]  LINCOLN - Bret Aukamp informed the Regional Planning Commission that there will be a public hearing concerning the progress that has been made in planning bicycle trails this month. The hearing will be held at the Park District at 6:30 p.m. on October 28th.

Aukamp encouraged the Commission members to attend, and said that Farnsworth Group, the company who has worked with the Commission so far on the plan, will be sending representatives.

Aukamp said that maps of potential trails and ideas for trails will be on display at the hearing as well.

Commission members present were Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder; Chairman Bill Graff; Vice Chairman Jim Fuhrer; David Hepler, Jeff Hoinacki, Bret Aukamp, Emily Davenport, Fred Finchum, Blair Hoerbert, and Jim Vipond. Zoning Officer Will D’Andrea was also present.
