Mrs. Schumacher called the meeting to order at 10:10 a.m.
Due to a lack of quorum the committee could not vote.
Old Business
Updates to Personnel Manual: Mrs. Schumacher emailed the
whistleblower policy out to department heads; Mrs. Schumacher is
waiting to hear feedback. Mrs. Schumacher has not proceeded with
updating the personnel manual. The committee discussed vacation
time. Mrs. Schumacher wants to bring forward all revisions to the
personnel manual to the board.
Concealed Carry: Mrs. Schumacher e-mail Jonathan Wright
regarding the concealed carry policy. Mr. Wright believes the county
board should include the definition of any employee and list all
prohibited areas for concealed carry.

New Business Employee Orientation: Mrs.
Schumacher talked about Safety DVD new employees are required to
watch.
A motion was made by Mrs. Huddlestun, seconded by Mr. Farmer to
adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 10:40 am.
The next meeting will be August 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
