IDOT to host High-speed Rail public meeting in Lincoln October 30th

[October 18, 2014]  The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is hosting two public meetings for the Illinois High-Speed Rail (HSR) Chicago to St. Louis Program to present information regarding at-grade crossing improvements in Logan, Macoupin and Sangamon Counties.

The work associated with the crossings includes construction at and adjacent to the railroad tracks, the installation of safety crossing protection features, and additional roadway improvements, such as drainage work and utility relocations.

The meetings will be conducted in an open house format, and interested persons may visit any time between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to review exhibits and meet with IDOT and study team representatives.
