Julia Beccue is the October Student-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School

[October 18, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI - Julia Beccue, daughter of Jeff and Jeanie Beccue of Mount Pulaski, has been named October Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Academically, Julia is one of the top students in the Class of 2015 at Mount Pulaski High School. At school, Julia participates in Student Council (3 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Drama Club (3 years), Spanish Club (3 years), WYSE (3 years), Volleyball (4 years), Basketball (4 years), Track (4 years), Choir Club (4 years), Band/Pep Band (4 years), and Spirit Squad (4 years). Outside of school, Julia has been a member of her youth group for 4 years.

Julia plans on attending college and then medical school.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food Center and Mt. Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend and compete for the Senior-of-the-Year honor in May.
