[October 22, 2014]  CB Kyle Fuller suffered a broken hand and a hip-pointer and left Sunday's game, but it's not a given he'll miss several weeks like Shea McClellin did with a broken hand. Fuller's injury isn't serious enough to require surgery.

DT Jeremiah Ratliff made his second start after a concussion had sidelined him two games, and produced a career-high 3.5 sacks against Miami.

LB D.J. Williams returned to the field following a neck injury that had caused him to miss a game and then practice time last week. Williams was in on two tackles.

S Chris Conte missed Sunday's game with a shoulder injury suffered against Atlanta Oct. 12. He is day to day. Rookie Brock Vereen played in his place and made five tackles.

LB Shea McClellin saw his first game action since Week 2 due to a hand injury. He was in on two tackles and deflected a pass. McClellin slipped and fell in coverage, resulting in Miami's first touchdown. Later, his pass deflection occurred in the back of the end zone when LB Kahseem Greene played weak-side linebacker for injured Lance Briggs, but came out of the game at times in favor of Christian Jones. Trestman said he was merely trying to get Jones some reps.

LB Jonathan Bostic missed the Miami game due to a back injury and his status is day to day heading into preparations for the New England game. His place in the nickel was filled by Darryl Sharpton, who had six tackles and a quarterback hit.
