Community invited to open house and art show at Lincoln City Hall Thursday evening

[October 22, 2014]  LINCOLN - The City of Lincoln is hosting an Art Show at City Hall this Thursday evening, Oct 23rd, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.  All of City Hall will be open to the public to roam the offices and council chambers to discover and enjoy the artwork of local artists.

The evening will be catered by El Mazatlan, Lincoln's newest Mexican restaurant. Music will be provided live by the Lincoln Area Music Society. There will also be a raffle drawing for one-of-a-kind Lincoln artifacts and merchandise. You don't want to miss this unique evening!

To kick off this special night in downtown Lincoln, prior to the opening of the Art Show at City Hall, please join Mayor Keith Snyder and artist Moses Pinkerton for the dedication of the "Cow in the Corn" sculpture at 4:30 p.m. in the Busby- Turner Park (100 block of South Sangamon Street.)
