August Planning & Zoning Meeting

[October 23, 2014]  LINCOLN - Logan County Safety Complex August 6, 2014

Present: David Hepler; Robert Farmer; Kevin Bateman; David Blankenship; Pat O’Neill Absent: Jan Schumacher
Guests: Will D’Andrea; Derek Hurley

Mr. Hepler called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

A motion was made by Mr. O’Neill, seconded by Mr. Blankenship, to approve the minutes from the July 2, 2014 meeting as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business

Subdivision Ordinance: Mr. D’Andrea reported Bret Aukamp is working through the road design.

Bike Trails: Mr. Bateman met with the bike trail committee just to have conversation on the progress. Bike Trail is moving forward as funds are available.

Wind Farms: Mr. Hepler reported there are two wind farms possibly coming to Logan County. Sugar creek is moving slowly and Relite is moving forward. Relite should be getting Mr. D’Andrea a draft application together.

Mining Appeal Update: Mr. D’Andrea reported a hearing is scheduled for August.

Enterprise Zone Participation: Mr. Hepler mentioned setting money aside for the Enterprise Zone Participation. Keep this on agenda.

Relite Status: already discussed.

New Business:

Rezoning for Mining: Keep on agenda.

Zoning Officer’s Report: Mr. D’Andrea gave an update on GIS mapping. There are currently some conflicts between 911 addresses and the assessment data. Nothing further to report.

A motion was made by Mr. Bateman seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the bills. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. O’Neill, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:00 p.m.
