[October 28, 2014]  LINCOLN - Alberta Mae “Penny” Griffith, 83, of Lincoln, passed away October 26, 2014 at Symphony of Lincoln.
 

Visitation: Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene, Lincoln.

Service: 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church

Alberta Mae “Penny” Griffith, 83, of Lincoln, passed away October 26, 2014 at Symphony of Lincoln.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Homehas been entrusted with her care.

A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Lincoln. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, also at the church with Pastor Greg Wooten officiating.

Penny was born January 19, 1931 in Pine Grove, PA., the daughter of Joseph Gonzalez and Leona (Horney).

She was a long time member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Lincoln and was employed at Mel-O-Cream in Lincoln for more than 45 years.

Surviving are her daughters Gloria Griffith-Horn (Jeff) of Lexington, TN. and Jewel Diane Griffith Nuspl (Vince) of Desoto, MO.; her grandchildren: Fonda Dalton (Josh), Alyssa Terry (Christian), Hillary Ralston (PJ), and Brenna Kitzmiller (Mike).; step grandchildren Mike Nuspl and Alicia Nuspl; 7 great grandchildren and sisters Issy Vahle (Dean) of Canton, and Cleona Olmstead of Pekin, also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers David Gonzalez and Leonard Gonzalez and sister Judy.

Memorial donations may be made to Symphony of Lincoln.
