Hero Walk and Day of Family Fun for Super Alex

[September 02, 2014]  LINCOLN - A Hero Walk and Day of Family Fun for Super Alex will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Kickapoo Creek Park, 2000 North Jefferson St. in Lincoln, IL. All proceeds will go directly to the care of Alexandria Cook of Lincoln.

Registration will begin at 9am, followed by a balloon release at 10am with a Superhero Walk on a one mile marked course immediately following. The walk will be followed by family activities and a bake sale in the park area. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Super Hero, but are welcome to come as they are as well.

Come for a day of family fun, including a balloon release, Super Hero walk, bake sale, bounce houses, crafts, face painting and more.
