Old Business:

Disaster Recovery Plan: Mrs. Schumacher was unable to get Tazewell’s Disaster Recovery Plan. Mrs. Schumacher plans to e-mail Tazewell County. Mrs. Schumacher discussed the idea of hiring someone to work on the Disaster Recovery Plan. The Disaster Recovery Plan requires a lot of work and Mrs. Schumacher is unable to devote her time to this project.

Upcoming Drills: The committee is planning a severe weather drill. The committee discussed what employees should do if severe weather happens. If there is enough time, employees should make their way to the basement. If there is not enough time, employees should get into their vaults, if they have one in their office. The committee would like security to make an announcement over the phones warning employees to seek shelter. Mrs. Schumacher plans to talk to Sheriff to hear his ideas on severe weather.

AED’s: Mrs. Schumacher talked to Jean Anderson regarding the AED machine. Mrs. Anderson told Mrs. Schumacher they do have an AED machine over at John Logan Building. Mrs. Anderson would like both the Superintendent of Schools and Assessor’s Office to be trained on the AED machine. However, Mrs. Anderson purchased the machine with grant money. When Superintendent of Schools closes, County Board could possibly buy the machine off Superintendent of Schools. Mrs. Schumacher would like Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Marlin, Mrs. Meagher and Mrs. Freese to be trained on the AED machine in case it would be needed at a County Board meeting.

New Business:
