Tammy Renee Harris to perform Saturday at Mount Pulaski Fall Festival

[September 03, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI - Singer and recording artist, Tammy Renee Harris, will be in performance at the Mt. Pulaski 122nd annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept 6th after the parade, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

This will be a Gospel Variety performance – on the west side of the Mt. Pulaski square across from the 1848 Illinois Historic Site Abraham Lincoln 8th Judicial Circuit Courthouse.

Traditional under-the-tent dinners will occur on both evenings, starting at 5 p.m. with the Mount Pulaski American Legion Rib-eye Sandwich Dinner on Friday the Logan County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #78 Walleye Fish Dinner on Saturday evening.

As usual, homemade ice cream, homemade donuts and homemade desserts will be offered by the folks of the United Methodist Church; homemade Pronto-pups will be a St. John’s Lutheran offering.

Free tours of the Courthouse and community historical museum on the south side of the square will be available.

A carnival and other kiddie events & contests (including adult) will take place on both days.

A local-area homemade craft show will take place in the courthouse both days.

Several bands will also be in performance during the weekend.

Inclement-weather venues will be available for all events except the carnival & parade.
