[September 09, 2014]  LINCOLN - Logan County Safety Complex July 9, 2014

Present: Jan Schumacher; Andy Anderson; Kevin Bateman; Dave Hepler; Chuck Ruben Absent: Emily Davenport

Mrs. Schumacher called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to approve the minutes from the June 11, 2014 meeting as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business

IWIN: Mrs. Schumacher reported new cases will only be referred to IWIN.

Lightning Strike/LEADs Damage: Mrs. Meagher reported the final two bills are pending approval by the claims committee. The umbrella carrier is considering coverage for LEADs damage from the storm.

New Business

Prevailing Wage: A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Hepler, to approve prevailing wage motion passed.

Poker Runs: A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to approve raffle and poker run resolution. Motion passed.

Mrs. Schumacher will prepare news release. Mrs. Meagher will send Raffle and Poker Run Resolution to Jonathan Wright for consent and approval.

Insurance Administrator Report: Mrs. Schaub reported Catapult health is offering wellness checks to employees on the County insurance plan with Blue Cross. The County must have 40 participants to receive the service at no cost. They do scheduling, reminders, staff of techs, NP, greeter. The committee suggested offering a $10 gift card to participants that will be provided by county. This will be brought forward to the full Board for consideration. Nothing further to report.

Raffles:

LO 13-14 73- New Holland Volunteer Fire Dept – A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by, Mr. Hepler, to approve this raffle. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Hepler, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:32 pm.
