[September 10, 2014]  LINCOLN - Lincoln Christian University (LCU) men's soccer traveled to Moberly, MO on Tuesday afternoon for a 4 P.M. matchup against Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB).

The Saints of CCCB stole a victory from LCU in Lincoln on Aug 30 with a 6-5 OT win. LCU went down to Moberly with the hopes of turning the tables and stealing one from the Saints at their home field. Central's men's soccer team had another plan which they executed to hold their home field advantage and a 2-1 win to improve to 2-1 record. The Red Lions drop to 0-3.

Logan Arney (SR/Effingham, IL) scored the Red Lions lone goal, assisted by Parker Radecki (JR/Greenwood, IN). LCU netminder Alex Watret (FR/Murrayville, IL) gave up two goals to the Saints, but managed to save 6 other shots.

LCU’s School of Undergraduate Studies is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Founded in Lincoln, Illinois, in 1944, Lincoln Christian University’s three schools – the School of Undergraduate Studies, the Hargrove School of Adult & Graduate Studies and the Seminary – share a mission to nurture and equip Christians with a Biblical worldview to serve and lead in the church and the world.
