Illinois State Police make arrest in connection with skeletal remains found in Rochester community

[September 20, 2014]  ROCHESTER -- Sangamon County State’s Attorney John Milhiser today confirmed that Bradley D. Perkins has been charged with Concealment of a Homicidal Death in connection with the skeletal remains of Tracy Trimby found on July 19, 2014. Trimby’s remains were found in a detached shed in Rochester.

Bradley D. Perkins remains in custody at the Sangamon County Jail and being held on a $250,000 bond. Perkins will make his first court appearance today.

The case remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s Office pending additional charges. The investigation remains focused on Bradley Perkins. No other suspects in this case have been identified.

No further information will be available by the Illinois State Police. All suspects are considered innocent until proved guilty.
