City of Lincoln hosts Community Night this evening in Ray White Park

[September 25, 2014]  LINCOLN - The City of Lincoln will host Community Night at Ray White Park tonight, and everyone is invited to stop by.  The picnic style get together will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Ray White Park is located at the corner of Short 11th Street and Madison Street.

There will be free hot dogs, chips and soda served by the Lincoln Police Dept and sweet treats from the City Clerks office.

Fun and games provided by the Lincoln Fire Dept and Lincoln Building & Safety Dept.

The Lincoln Street Dept will have heavy equipment and the Fire and Police Dept will have firetrucks, police cars and the police hummer at the park to check out!

His Hands Outreach will be hosting face painting, bead jewelry making, and bag toss game. They will also be holding a long shot basketball competition at the new basketball hoop that they have donated to the Ray White Park.

The weather forecast indicates that the evening will be rain-free and a comfortable temperature. I hope you'll be able to stop by and enjoy our 2014 Community Night at the Park!!
