Dawn Draper named ALMH Employee of the Month

[September 30, 2014]  LINCOLN - Dawn Draper of Lincoln has been named the September Employee of the Year at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Dawn has worked as an Environmental Services Technician at ALMH for 6 months.

While it is always flattering to be nominated by your peers for the Employee of the Month honor, this month the recipient was nominated by three co-workers. Draper’s willingness to go the extra mile for ALMH patients is what caught their attention.

Just a few short weeks ago, an ALMH patient left their wedding ring and a necklace in a patient belongings bag after their procedure. Understandably, the patient was very upset with himself for leaving the items behind. But after persistence and even a little dumpster diving on a very hot day, Draper retrieved the items. The patient was so appreciative when ALMH staff was able to report to him that the important personal items had been found. That is just one example of how Draper has created GREAT for patients at ALMH.
