[April 03, 2015]  Rangers 3, Wild 2: J.T. Miller scored 6:48 into the third period to snap a tie as visiting New York clinched the Metropolitan Division title.

Rick Nash converted on the power play to match his career high of 41 goals and Dominic Moore also tallied for the Rangers, who have won eight of their last nine road games and a franchise-best 26 overall away from home. Henrik Lundqvist finished with 26 saves as New York climbed within two points of league-leading Anaheim in the race for the Presidents' Trophy.

Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville scored for the Wild, who saw their five-game winning streak come to a halt. Defenseman Matt Dumba notched a pair of assists and Devan Dubnyk turned aside 23 shots in his 35th consecutive start for Western Conference wild card-leading Minnesota, which is five points ahead of both Los Angeles and Winnipeg.

Carl Hagelin denied a clearing attempt and promptly wristed a shot that Moore deflected home 2:09 into the contest to open the scoring. Nash doubled the advantage 12 1/2 minutes later, briefly looking away before wiring a sharp-angle shot from along the end line that caromed off Dubnyk and into the net

The Wild halved the deficit 5:24 into the second, as Dumba backhanded a centering feed that deflected off the left skate of Pominville and past Lundqvist. Vanek cleaned up a fortunate carom off the end boards 5:53 into the third to forge a tie, but Miller tipped home captain Ryan McDonagh's shot from the point to give New York a lead it would not relinquish.
