[April 06, 2015]  April 5 (The Sports Xchange) - Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau is hopeful point guard Derrick Rose will return to action this week.

Rose had a meniscectomy on his right knee on Feb. 27 and was expected to miss four to six weeks. He has missed 20 games since having the procedure.

"Only he knows his body and that's the big thing," Thibodeau said before Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. "So he's got to continue to work through it and I trust him. When he says, he's ready."

In 46 games this season, Rose has averaged 18.4 points, 5.0 assists and 3.1 rebounds.

Rose told ESPN he and the Bulls were "taking it day by day, really day by day" in regard to his comeback.
