[April 15, 2015]  April 14 (The Sports Xchange) - Atlanta Hawks forward Thabo Sefolosha pointed to police as the cause of a season-ending leg injury he suffered last week during an incident that ended with his arrest.

Sefolosha suffered a fractured right fibula and ligament damage that required surgery and he will miss the playoffs with the top-seeded Hawks, who open the postseason against the Indiana Pacers or the Brooklyn Nets.

Rod Thorn, who is on his second tour of duty as the NBA's president of basketball operations, plans to retire in August, Yahoo Sports reported Tuesday.

In August 2013, Thorn, 73, returned to the league office to administer the league's daily operations under new commissioner Adam Silver. The plan was to have Thorn provide a two-year bridge to a long-term successor.

When it comes to NBA jersey sales, LeBron James is still the King.
