Atlanta Betterment Group announces grant recipients for 2015

[April 18, 2015]  ATLANTA - On Saturday, April 25th the Atlanta Betterment group will distribute "Atlanta Betterment Grants" to ten different Atlanta organizations.

Atlanta Public Library
Atlanta Memorial Park District
Atlanta Rotary Club
Olympia South PTO
Atlanta Community Band
The Ladies Cemetery Association of Atlanta
City of Atlanta
Atlanta Historic Commission
Atlanta Christian Church

Grant funds come from interest earned from the "Endow Atlanta" endowment fund established approximately three years ago. Last year was the second year the Endowment earned money that could be distributed, with $1,800 in awards being give out. This year, a total of $3,225 was distributed in grant awards.

A reception will be held on Saturday April 25 at 2:30 p.m. at the Palms Grill in Atlanta for the award recipients.  The public is invited to attend.
