LCHS Red Carpet and Grand March to be May 2nd

[April 24, 2015]  LINCOLN - WLCN 96.3FM along with Mary Todd's Goldcrown Hallmark and Flossie and Delzena's Gourmet Grind & Gifts in Downtown Lincoln is pleased to present the 26th Annual Lincoln Community High School "The Great Gatsby" 2015 Prom Red Carpet Runway and Royal Grand March to be held on Saturday, May 2nd at the Logan County Courthouse in Downtown Lincoln.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the weekend as many downtown businesses will be offering Red Carpet special sales and discounts. The Red Carpet Runway, sponsored in part by Jim Xamis Ford Lincoln, Jonae Cheger Photography, Lincoln Heating & Cooling, Bright Idea Screen Printing & Embroidery and ALMH and will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the McLean Street entrance to the Courthouse and will be hosted by WLCN 96.3 "Cheap Seats Sports Show" Co-Host and Country Financial Agent Joe Ryan along with Lisa, The FIX 96 Prize Girl.

This year's color theme is black, gold and pearl with a Roaring Twenties
look. Master of Ceremonies Joe Ryan will begin the Royal Grand March at 5:00 p.m. on the North Entrance of the courthouse on Broadway Street lined with beautiful trees, plants and flowers compliments of Lincoln Ace Hardware.

Ten senior ladies along with ten senior gentlemen will be vying for the title of Queen and King at this year's prom dance with the crown provided by MKS Jeweler's. In the case of inclement weather, both events will be held on the LCHS Campus at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium with the same times applicable. WLCN 96.3FM will keep listener's updated, beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 2nd in the event of a venue change.

The Red Carpet Runway and Royal Grand March will be video recorded and available for viewing and downloading, after May 8th, at no cost, by logging on to wlcnonline.com courtesy of WLCN 96.3FM and will also be available for viewing on Comcast Channel 5 in Lincoln and Mount Pulaski hosted via Lincoln College.

Live music will be provided by The Holly Payne-Moore DJ Experience.
