[April 29, 2015]  April 28 (The Sports Xchange) - A game between the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox that was scheduled for Wednesday night will be moved to the afternoon and played without any fans in Camden Yards.

The Orioles announced alterations to the schedule for the remainder of the week after Monday and Tuesday games were postponed because of rioting in the city. Officials called off Tuesday's game more than seven hours before the scheduled start.

Former Detroit Tigers outfielder Kirk Gibson has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Gibson, a Tigers TV analyst, managed the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2010 to 2014, leading the team to a division title in his first season.

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey is already on the disabled list with a sprained elbow, but it appears that he might not be returning to the mound any time soon.

Reds manager Bryan Price told reporters that Bailey might need surgery. There are now concerns that he might need Tommy John elbow ligament reconstruction surgery, which would sideline him for the season.

The Boston Red Sox recalled center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. from the minor leagues. The 25-year-old Bradley started the season in Triple-A after he was sent to Pawtucket at the end of spring training. (Editing by Andrew Both)
