 White Sox 6, Rays 5 (10 innings)
Right fielder Avisail Garcia drew a bases-loaded walk against Brad
Boxberger to score center fielder Adam Eaton in the 10th inning to
help the Chicago White Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5.
Garcia also hit a three-run homer in Chicago's five-run first inning
and finished with four RBIs.

Angels 4, Indians 3
Pinch-runner Taylor Featherston scored on a wild pitch in the bottom
of the ninth inning to culminate a three-run rally that gave the Los
Angeles Angels a 4-3 win over the Cleveland Indians.
The Angels combined two hits, two walks and two wild pitches to
nullify a 3-1 deficit against right-handed closer Corey Allen (1-4).

Orioles 7, Athletics 3 (10 innings)
First baseman Chris Davis belted a grand slam in the top of the 10th
inning, delivering the Baltimore Orioles a 7-3 victory over the
Oakland Athletics.
Left-hander Zach Britton (2-0), the fourth Orioles pitcher, got the
win with two innings of one-hit relief.

Rockies 7, Mariners 5 (11 innings)
Michael McKenry hit a two-run homer in the 11th inning to give the
Colorado Rockies a 7-5 win over the Seattle Mariners.
It was McKenry's fourth homer of the season and the first walk-off
hit of his career.
The Rockies had scored twice in the ninth to send the game into
extra innings.
Yohan Flande (2-1) threw 16 pitches in the 11th and came away with
his second major league win in the four-hour, six-minute marathon.

Tigers 2, Royals 1
Matt Boyd recorded his first major league victory in his Detroit
Tigers debut, outdueling new Kansas City Royals ace Johnny Cueto in
a 2-1 win.
The 24-year-old left-hander, obtained in the trade last week that
sent David Price to Toronto, gave up one run on seven hits and
struck out two in seven innings.
Alex Wilson got the last out to notch his second save.

Red Sox 2, Yankees 1
Steven Wright set a career high with nine strikeouts in eight
effective innings while David Ortiz homered as the Boston Red Sox
completed a 2-1 victory over the New York Yankees.
In the longest of his 25 career outings, Wright allowed a solo home
run to right fielder Carlos Beltran among four hits.

Giants 6, Braves 1
Madison Bumgarner struck out nine in 7-1/3 dominant innings to
improve to 12-6 as the Giants defeated the Braves 6-1.
Bumgarner allowed seven hits and did not walk a batter, lowering his
ERA to 3.28 in the 116-pitch outing.

Blue Jays 9, Twins 7
Right fielder Jose Bautista hit a grand slam while designated hitter
Edwin Encarnacion added a three-run shot as, the Toronto Blue Jays
held on to defeat the Minnesota Twins 9-7.
Third baseman Josh Donaldson also hit a two-run homer for the Blue
Jays.

Pirates 7, Cubs 5
Gregory Polanco and Andrew McCutchen both homered and then also
drove in runs in a decisive sixth inning as the Pittsburgh Pirates
beat Chicago 7-5, ending the Cubs' six-game winning streak.

Polanco led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run off
Dan Haren to open the scoring, then hit an RBI-single to break a 4-4
tie in a two-run sixth inning.
McCutchen hit a solo homer in the third inning then added a
sacrifice fly in the sixth to make it 6-4.

Mets 8, Marlins 6
Juan Uribe slugged a three-run homer while Matt Harvey pitched seven
scoreless innings as the New York Mets defeated the Miami Marlins
8-6.
Mets first baseman Lucas Duda matched Uribe with three RBIs, hitting
a two-run double in the third and adding a sacrifice fly in the
ninth.
Miami scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth before Mets closer
Jeurys Familia got the final out for his 29th save.

Dodgers 4, Phillies 3
Brett Anderson pitched six strong innings and right fielder Yasiel
Puig hit a three-run homer as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the
Philadelphia Phillies 4-3.
Second baseman Howie Kendrick had three hits for the Dodgers, while
Jeff Francoeur hit a two-run homer for the Phillies.

Diamondbacks 11, Nationals 4
Welington Castillo had two hits, including a three-run homer, while
Aaron Hill drove in two runs without any hits as the Arizona
Diamondbacks beat the slumping Washington Nationals 11-4.
Hill had a sacrifice fly in the third inning and a bases-loaded walk
in a four-run sixth.
Center fielder A.J. Pollock, left fielder Ender Inciarte and first
baseman Paul Goldschmidt all had three hits for Arizona.

Brewers 8, Padres 5
Taylor Jungmann struck out eight over seven innings while Jonathan
Lucroy hit his fourth home run of the season as the Milwaukee
Brewers beat the San Diego Padres.

Cardinals 4, Reds 3 (13 innings)
Randal Grichuk's solo home run in the top of the 13th inning lifted
the St. Louis Cardinals to a come-from-behind, 4-3 victory over the
Cincinnati Reds.
Grichuk ended a long night for both teams when he launched a 1-0
pitch from right-hander Dylan Axelrod (0-1) into the left field
seats. It was the center fielder's 13th homer this season.
Third baseman Matt Carpenter hit a game-tying solo homer in the
eighth for St. Louis.

Rangers 4, Astros 3
The Texas Rangers did just enough to sweep the American League
West-leading Astros with a 4-3 victory.
The Rangers scored all four of their runs against Houston starter
Scott Kazmir (6-6), though only one was earned.
Houston managed only four hits but drew a season-high eight walks.
