[August 07, 2015]  LINCOLN - Linda Lou (Lohrenz) Robinson, 74, of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. James Hospital Hospice floor in Chicago Heights.

Celebration of Life:  Saturday, August 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus in Lincoln.

Linda Lou (Lohrenz) Robinson, 74, of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. James Hospital Hospice floor in Chicago Heights. There will be a celebration of Linda’s life at the K of C’s in Lincoln from 11-3 on August 8th, which would have been her 75th birthday.

Linda Lou Robinson was born in Lincoln, on August 8, 1940, the daughter of Stanley and Leona Lohrenz. She married John W. Robinson on May 6, 1961.

Linda was a dedicated full-time mother most of her life. She worked at Lincoln College after her children were grown.

Surviving Linda are her husband John W. Robinson of Lincoln, children: Michael Robinson (Cynthia) Frankfort, Cynthia Robinson-Seefeldt (Jeff) Highlands Ranch, CO, Four grandchildren: Justin Robinson (Leoconnie), Nicole Schaefer (Brett), Ryan and Sarah Oro. Four great-grandchildren: Abigail and Emma Schafer, Layla and Hunter Robinson. Two brothers: David Lohrenz (Sheila) Jacksonville and Larry Lohrenz (Karen) Lincoln. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Leona Lohrenz.
Linda willed herself on her final journey to the Chicago area to see her family and meet her youngest great-grandchild. She was a true inspiration to her family.
