[August 21, 2015]  ATLANTA - Tommy "TK" Karrick, 62, of Atlanta, died at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Blomington.

Visitation: Sunday August 23, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Atlanta United Methodist Church

Graveside Service: At a later date

Funeral home: Quiram Peasley Funeral Home, Atlanta

Obituary

Tommy "TK" Karrick, 62, of Atlanta, died at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Blomington.

Visitation will be held at the Atlanta United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 23, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Cremation Rites to be accorded following the visitation.

Burial will be in Roaches Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

Tommy J. "TK" Karrick was born on November 28, 1952, in Lincoln, the son of Russell E. and Sarah Tygrest Karrick. He married Charmine Crowell on March 8, 1999. She survives.

Tommy is survived by his wife; two daughters: Brandy (Allen) Miesner of Hartsburg and Christal Gordon of Bloomington; one son: Roger (Ashley) Doolin, Jr. of Mackinaw; one sister: Trish Horner of Bloomington; one brother: Jason Karrick of Vandalia, Ohio; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tommy graduated from Atlanta High School in 1970. He worked at the Lincoln Elks Lodge #914 Country Club as a groundskeeper. TK loved sports of all kinds. He was loved by many friends and family. TK always had a smile and a great wit, and will be greatly missed.

Memorials may be made to the family.
