 Hank Spellman was employed as an engineer for Sangamo Electric in
Springfield and as the associate director of operations at the
Illinois Department of Revenue. Lynn Spellman retired as an
assistant professor of English at Lincoln College. The couple own
and operate Tremont Park in Lincoln.
They are the parents of two sons, Edward (Michelle) of Muscatine,
IA, and Charles (Miki) of Tempe, AZ. There are five grandchildren –
Katherine, Sarah and Benjamin Spellman in Iowa and Jane and Diana
Spellman in Arizona.

Henry A. Spellman and Lynn Shearer were married at the First
Congregational Church of Toulon, IL, on Aug. 21, 1965. The Rev.
Howard R. Clegg Jr. officiated.
All eleven members of the family vacationed together in Scotland in
2014. They will celebrate the anniversary with a family dinner later
this year.
