[August 25, 2015]  LINCOLN - For the fifth year, there will be chalk art opportunities offered in downtown Lincoln during the Balloon Festival. The chalk art project is hosted by the city of Lincoln and the Lincoln Park District. Artists of all ages and level of ability are invited to reserve a space and create an artistic statement in the downtown area.

This year, while the balloon festival will be held at the Logan County Airport, the Festival Shuttles will make stops in the downtown area allowing festival goers to do some shopping and enjoy the sites in the downtown area.

The city and Park District encourage everyone interested to come and be a part of this project, and help to enhance the visitor experience to the downtown area.

To participate in this event, please register by Sunday August 23rd. Registration forms are available by clicking here.
