Mount Pulaski, passed away at 6:15 P.M. Friday August 28, 2015 in
Anderson, IN.

Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski

10 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, at the funeral home.

Obituary
Lionel Ray Marshall Sr., 78, of Anderson, IN,
formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 6:15 P.M.
Friday August 28, 2015 in Anderson, IN.
Lionel was born on September 29, 1936 in Lake Fork,
to Lloyd and Marjorie Lamar Marshall. He married Kay
E. Shay on February 14, 1965 in Lincoln. She
preceded him in death on May 3, 2008.
Lionel was a rural mail carrier for the United
States Postal Service for many years in the Mount
Pulaski area. He was a member of the Mount Pulaski
Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Naval
Reserves for 7 years.
Surviving Lionel is his daughter Dr. Angela Marshall
of Pendleton, IN, two brothers, Richard (Rita)
Marshall of Taylorville, John Marshall of Decatur,
and one sister Susan Marshall Powell of Pendleton,
IN. |
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kay,
and one son Lionel “Lenny” Marshall Jr.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday September
2, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Mount Pulaski with Mark Weber officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00-7:00
p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount
Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mount
Pulaski EMS.
