Both the 7th and 8th grade teams emerged with victories.
In the 8th grade game, WLB (9-0) won 62-23 behind Dreyden
Pozgai's 16 points and 7 rebounds performance. Kameron Whiteman
scored 15 points and grabbed 5 boards. Also strong for WLB was;
Kaden Froebe (10), Payton Anderson (10), Joe Dalpoas (4), Justin
Long (3), Zac Fuller (2), and Patrick McCraith (2).
In the opener, WLB 7th grade (4-5) got 21 points, 8 steals, and
4 assists from Patrick McCraith en route to a 48-23 victory.
Also scoring for the Wolverines was; Lucas Konczyk (14), Daulton
Miller (6), Kayden Aragon (4), and Brody Whiteman (2).
The Wolverines will continue the home stand with 3 games next
week beginning with Springfield Little Flower on Monday,
followed by Chester-East Lincoln on Tuesday, and Illini Central
on Wednesday.
Each night will begin with the seventh grade game tipping at
6:00 p.m.
