The Toppers played bucket for bucket with the Hornets going
into halftime down just 23 – 19.
The third quarter proved rough for the visiting Toppers with the
Hornets outscoring the ladies 23 to 12. The deficit was too much
for the purple and gold as the Hornets cruised to a win 61 – 41.
Skylar Hayes led all scorers with 20, followed by Breanna
Rentmeister; 6, Elizabeth Seibert and Alyssa Bridge with 5,
Shelby Bailey; 3, and Ashley Houser; 2. Siebert also collected 8
rebounds on the night while Hayes had 5 steals and 5 blocked
shots.
